Enyumba bridges the gap between landlords and tenants with flexible payment plans, reducing the burden of upfront lump-sum rent deposits that lock many Ugandans out of quality housing.
The Challenge
Uganda's rental market requires tenants to pay 6–12 months of rent upfront — a massive barrier that locks out working professionals, students, and young families from quality housing. Landlords meanwhile face unreliable payments and high vacancy rates.
Our Solution
We built Enyumba, a PropTech platform that lets tenants spread rent payments into affordable monthly installments while guaranteeing landlords their full payment upfront. The platform integrates mobile money (MTN MoMo, Airtel Money) for seamless payments and automates the entire rental lifecycle.
